About Mage Punk Archives

On a world named Orbyss,

Be it past, present, or future,

Behold this tale of a soul, whose magic lights away the darkness;

and the Darkness, that lashes out in fear of the Light.

Mage Punk Archives aims to weave a sincere and epic narrative of the patterns of nature, technology, and what it really means to be human in the greater universe.

About the Author

My name is Tables Mesa and I’m an author/illustrator from Opa-Locka, Florida; now living in Orlando. I graduated from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2013 with a Bachelor’s in Illustration and an award for Best Portfolio. After that, I worked in art retail until early 2020. Currently, I work full-time as a digital print technician, printing and producing trade show graphics.

Along with manga and other media, many of the video games I grew up playing on the SNES, Sega Genesis, and Gameboy Color were a huge influence on me early on, culminating in my visual style today. As such, my art makes extensive use of delicate linework with bold color palettes and an emphasis on clearly readable silhouettes to create rich, vibrant scenes that are understood with or without the need for text. I love working to chiptunes, FM synth, and other instrumental and video game music.
