Archives Needs Work

Keeper's Objects

I’ve installed plugins that give me the functions for adding custom headers on a per-post/page/chapter basis as well as a per-page/post CSS editor.

Now I need to figure out how to edit the Archives layout to look how I want it to, as well as creating a child theme for the site. (Assuming that doing so doesn’t undo any of my recent progress.)

FOR SOME REASON THE MAIN HEADER ISN’T DISPLAYING PROPERLY ON THE HOME PAGE.

EDIT: I also have to find a mobile site plugin since Jetpack’s has compatibility issues with ComicPress.

Captain’s Log!

As of now, the website is back to how I had it before with minor cosmetic differences. There are still some Comic Easel settings to tweak as well as customizations to the comic post appearances.

There’s also still the matter of that pesky Comics Archive and the Mobile View for the Blog Page.

Will work on these later!

Here We Go Again…

Alas, poor metal Yorick!

Hello! I accidentally broke the site and all my progress was reverted to a backup from march. Thankfully, it was mostly a lot of cosmetic changes between then and this snafu.

I’ve decided that, as I build the site, I’m going to use the blog portion to sort of log my progress and make notes of things that need to get done. It’ll also serve the function of giving me a proper blog archive to construct and style as I see fit.

Right now I’m re-uploading image files and I’m going to plug them into their places from before. I’m also uploading some older comic pages to work out the comic posting, archiving, and navigation functions that ComicPress has to offer me.

So far, things that I couldn’t get to work are the blog page in the mobile view, and the archive page templates. I’ll keep you posted.
